This event caused the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two men have been charged related to a luggage theft where a suspected capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after exiting a car park lift, authorities reported.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were later discharged.

This event – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
