Devoted supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who leaped a fence and seized the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a event pathway flanked by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some requested digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore attendees had lined up to greet the cast of Wicked

Many of attendees had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore venue, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The movie, to be premiered on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned ten Oscar nominations, securing several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
